An internal City Hall memo says Biden’s open border will cost
New York City taxpayers $4.2 billion through the middle of next
year, double Mayor Adams’ previous estimate.
And those costs won’t stop even if Washington magically decides
to start enforcing the immigration laws — because millions are
already here.

One of the reasons the number is so high is New York’s “right to
shelter” law, which requires the city to house all comers. But
even without that provision, and even once the border-jumpers
start working (legally or otherwise) and paying taxes, the net
costs to taxpayers nationwide will be enormous.

A few years back, the Center for Immigration Studies used data
from the National Academies of Sciences to estimate the lifetime
net fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for each
illegal immigrant, not counting their US-born children.

Adjusted for inflation, the lifetime cost to taxpayers of each
illegal immigrant is over $80,000. Under Biden’s orders,
Homeland Security has released into the United States nearly 2
million illegal border-crossers (so far!), meaning their
lifetime cost to taxpayers will be close to $150 billion.

Add in another 1 million got-aways — border infiltrators who
were detected (by cameras or ground sensors or other means) but
not apprehended because the Border Patrol had its hands’ full
dealing with all the illegal immigrants turning themselves in
knowing they’d be released — and the lifetime cost for taxpayers
soars past $200 billion.

What is your legal solution? Deporting people is easy.

https://time.com/5638586/us-citizens-deportation-raids/

In all three of these recent headline-making cases, those with
their citizenship status questioned were able to return home. But
this isn’t the first time U.S. citizens have faced the threat of
deportation — and its reality. It is estimated that about 2
million people, 60% of whom were American citizens of Mexican
descent, were removed to Mexico as part of a Depression-era effort
known as repatriation, according to the state of California,
though the exact number is unknown and estimates range.

Stopping them from illegally crossing in the first place.

There's something happening here
But what it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
A-telling me I got to beware

I think it's time we stop
Children, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down

There's battle lines being drawn
And nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Are gettin' so much resistance from behind

It's time we stop
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down

What a field day for the heat (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
A thousand people in the street (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
Singing songs and a-carryin' signs (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
Mostly say, "Hooray for our side" (Ooh-ooh-ooh)

It's time we stopped
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life, it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
Step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop

Simple liberal milked down response. It has nothing to do with skin
color. There are Chinese crossing both borders, there are people from
Syria crossing. No one knows anything about them. We get to feed and
house them while our vets starve on the street. Use a legal entry point,
do a background check. You know, shit that works?

Same in NYC. The police won't do a thing because the squatters produce documentation showing they
own the house. They usually start by mailing letters to themselves. So if you happen to be selling
a vacant house watch out if odd mail addressed to others starts showing up.

I saw a segment on TV where this happened to a young couple who had just purchase a house. The day
they planned on moving in people were already occupying the house. They called the police who
couldn't do a thing. After hiring a lawyer and realizing it would take months if not years going
through the courts they came up with their own plan.

They kept watch on the house and noticed the occupants left every morning around 8 AM and didn't
return till 6 PM or so.

They waited till the squatters left, tossed all of their stuff out on the lawn and moved their own
stuff into the house and changed the locks.

When the squatters came home and realized what happened, they called the police who told them the
same thing that they would have to go through the courts to have the occupants removed.

Problem solved.

Correct.

There are basically 2 types of migrants.

1. Those who just want to come here, start a new life, earn their living etc.
2. Those with criminal records, smuggling drugs etc. IOW bad people.

The first group get on US soil, sit down and wait for border control to find them and take them to
a processing center where they are checked out and given a paper to appear in court at a later date.
Most don't.

The solution is stay in Mexico until your paperwork is processed and you have a court date and
cross at a border point and go to court. Trump worked with the Mexican government to facilitate
this. He threatened to cut off trade with Mexico so Mexico had their military patrolling the
borders on the Mexico side.

Right now the borders are effectively open and those words come directly from the border patrol
agents.

I don't disagree with that but it should be done legally.
We needed labor in the 1890's as well. Immigrants were legally offered citizenship and yes many
were taken advantage of, but as far as the law is concerned it was legal immigration.

If they have crossed illegally, they are not Americans. I would guess
you are one of the people who pay little to no taxes, so you believe
tax money is unlimited. I support a FLAT tax applied equally to all,
no matter their race, sex, or sexual orientation. Equal taxation and
equal justice are what I say.

I'm also a never-reparations person, until after the Native Americans
get theirs. They are owed before all others.

You're still illiterate. Look a few lines up. 2 million were
deported, and 60% were americans, or about 1 million americans
deported from their own country.

And your only problem is not enough american citizens were deported.

And you're still an idiot.

is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

"To seek your own will is to seek your own glory."

"If God is not first in everything He is not first in anything."

"What makes the bible the truth? The resonance of God."

"All men were born sinners. Why? Because all men were born not loving
God with all their heart, soul and mind. An abomination. Therefore,
sin is not what you do, it is what you are."

"Compromise will condemn you."

"There are no sinners in Christ Jesus."

"My sons are born of Me. In them is no darkness at all."

"You can't learn righteousness. Haven't you had enough time already to
know that?"

"The way of truth is the testimony of life."

Well, you forgot to mention the trail of tears. How many White and
Black people currently live on land stolen from Native Americans?
Where are the reparations??? This act also ordered by a Democrat.

Then there is what was done to Japanese Americans that was just
wrong. That was ordered done by the Democrats.

Even slavery was committed when Democrats were in power.

These were wrongs and not a excuse for present wrongs even if the
Democrats radicals believe so.

BTW is the above taught in liberal run schools?

You are a radical far-left fool. I'm just glad it looks like the
Cancel and Woke mob is losing power even in many big cities. Now we
just need to get the far-left to pay their share of taxes and stop
whining about how they should be owed. They are owed nothing. Get a
job and earn what you get. I know that isn't what they are taught in
schools anymore — heaven forbid they have any idea what personal
responsibility is.

I'm Native American and I don't like it when 6-year-old white kids are
taught to feel guilt for events that happened over 100 years ago. I
also don't like the idea of kids being taught that they're owed for
events that happened before they were born.

I don't see you pushing for Native Americans to be given reparations
because if any race is owed reparations, it is they.

All people should be treated as equals, with limited respect for Race,
Sex, Religion, or Orientation. No one should receive preferential
treatment based on their Race, Sex, Religion, or Orientation.

How many White and Black people currently live on land stolen from
Native Americans? Where are the reparations???

I might be slightly biased as I am Native American, and the most
racist people while I was growing up were the Blacks. It wasn't until
I started giving violence for violence that they stopped. Do you

Both parties have changed the Republican platform on the 1950s was
actually good.

The GOP started going bad when they became a party of fundamentalist
religious nutjobs.

I like some of what each party stands for. Yet for the most part,
both are about reed and power. The Dems just know how to buy votes at
taxpayer expense. The Republicans are only concerned with power, and

When were these millions done? Under Biden? Was it the

I want to fix the current problem, I can't change the past, and none
coming over the border, are owed reparations.

Man is always saying, "This is our land." However, nothing belongs to
man, it all belongs to God!

It is His land!

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
YET sinners, Christ died for us.

Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it
is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

"I merely speak the truth, what is revealed to me, and the cards fall
where God intends."

"Nothing that is produced is produced without first being faith."

"You can only find proof of God through faith because that is how we all
live, by faith."

"It is not what you do that matters, it is how you treat Me."

"Keep going forward. Forget about the past. Lift up your head, look
ahead."

"You cannot be free with guilt in your heart."

"Priority is everything."

"The truth doesn't need evidence, it is evidence."

"There is no greater possession a man has than his own will, to squander
it or to place it where it truly belongs."

"An atheist is a fool who thinks truth is found in living a lie."

"Saying "prove it" [as a foundation] is merely an ignorant straw man, to
an ignorant straw man."

"Wait, rest, be still, and know."

"No man can wash his own hands!!!"

"I find this in the Christianity religions: 'Nobody's perfect' they say,
and they use that as an excuse not to do what is perfect."

The Atheist: "They don't believe and put their faith in a Creator (the
obvious). So no evidence and proof is to be found!!"

"The world is the way it is because God can't compromise who He is."

"Man is not the centre of being."

"Man is incompatible with the natural world because of his sinful nature."

"And then the Lord said, "I see everything."

"Man has no greater idol than his own will."

"Where is God hiding? He isn't."

"If you don't keep all the scriptures, you can't keep any of them."

"You can't prove anything because everything depends on a person's
willingness to believe."

"Atheists are ultimately trying to be pointlessness, meaninglessness,
and purposelessness in their point, meaning, and purpose."

"The last day of creation will be the last day of time. God is always
full of hope."

"The veil of the temple was rent in twain, not to have a book pass
through it so that you could play God."

"A phylactery does not a heart for God make. Not back then, and not today."

"The Bible cannot baptize. No one was ever saved by reading the Bible.
Mechanical or methodical salvation is just more Pharisee bureaucracy.
Men are saved after their conviction, death sentence, and resurrection
in baptism--the baptism of the Holy Spirit." - Nightbulb

"No one in heaven is better (or higher) than what makes it heaven. Such
is the love of God."

"The definition of an atheist: A man full of bluster and bullshit
pretending he is the meaning of life."

"Free will is not power; it is the choice that I allow; that choice is
still according to my power," says the Lord.

OK Did you have a point about saying we need a open border because
of a event that happened in the 1930s and hasn't happened again.

A closed border means you walk or drive up to a border station and
legally present yourself for asylum. An open border is where you pay the
cartels for permission to cross and almost drown doing it and then just
being shuffled off with food stamps and no direction.

Well, when a god comes to Earth and tells me this, I might listen.
Then again, when this was written, I doubt they used the word "Earth."
This would mean I am his property and slave, and yet he also
insinuates we have freewill. Slaves with freewill?

When HH little group get together, it can be easy to forget who said
what, with the way they edit the post. They'll take out the most
important parts of their conversation, leaving only the parts that
they want the rest of the group to see.

I agree.

Insane does not equal stupid though you wouldn't know that to watch Republicans behave.

>They are all about votes to put their agenda into law.

Exactly. That's why Reagan's GOP made common cause with the Evangelicals and Trump's GOP
made common cause with the KKK and Nazis. It's all about the votes.

Yup. Republican states are the poor ones and take the most help from Uncle Sam. I say
its time to stop block grants, revenue sharing or whatever else it's called these days. Go
ahead and shutdown the DofEd. That'll cost Mississippi alone 20% of it's education
funding state wide. Let red states pay their own bills for a change.

And next time Arkansas has a tornado, they can pay for the clean up themselves by
rescinding their latest tax cut. I see no reason for Washington (that means you and me)
to be picking up the tab for a state that's cutting it's own thro . . . er, taxes.

>These people look at what they have and support those they
>trust to continue the something for nothing policies.

Yup. They know Republicans will cut their taxes and find ways to make Democrats pay their
bills. I want to see their faces when the Dems finally get fed up and yell, "NO!"

You should see 'em down at the food bank in their customized pick up trucks with 25"
chrome wires and neon under lighting, guzzling cold beer while waiting their turn for free
groceries.

>They don't care where the money is coming from as long as

Most of them don't even know how many Reps there are in Congress, how many Senators their
state has or how long a Presidential term is. But they still vote those "R" buttons.

Which is why, when Republicans are in power, they borrow and spend like there's no
tomorrow. I mean, why not? It's not the taxpayers' money, it's their grandkids' money
and who gives a shit about them? Not Republicans. They lost their family values when
Newt divorced his wife to marry that bimbo he was carrying on with.

And those who have spend more energy and time cheating on their taxes than they would have
spent just earning a few more dollars.

Correction: What they really think is that anybody paying taxes is a fool when there are
so many ways to cheat. Just ask that billionaire who, in four years, paid only $1500 in
income tax.

>They will vote for anyone who promises them to continue
>their free stuff, and especially those who will add to it,

Yup.

Which explains their obsession with attacking the Clintons almost non stop for thirty
years.

Absolutely! Republicans have elevated dirty tricks to levels not imagined half a century
ago! Hell, when Trump ran in 2016, he was caught more than once taking three positions on
the same policy in one day!

They almost did that in 2008. Fortunately the Federal Reserve (which the Democrats
invented) managed to prevent the total financial system collapse the Republicans caused
that made the Great Depression so deep and long.

I don't think the Dems will give up that easily. The Republicans might dig a hole, jump
in, and pull it in after them but the Dems have more sense than that.

You know what happens when you insult people for no reason? You get your ass kicked and
you just got yours kicked.

Think twice the next time you start throwing around accusations that your party is at
least as guilty of.

Holman does that a lot and is also very racist. He also has a thing
for Trump. Posting with them (HH, Swill, Holman and Rudy the
progressive quartet) is like being in a tag match.

Not all. I live in the rural area of Washington and, as you might
imagine, there are significant differences between Democrats in this
area and those in the cities. For example, in this area, Democrats
often refer to the crazies as "City Democrats" or progressives, and
they tend to be pro-gun. However, most Democrats here are not as
radical as city Democrats (who are freeloaders), and they are more
willing to compromise.
