Windfall Tax on Retirement Income

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

Just in case you needed another reason to vote Republican in the upcoming
election!

So far the Dems have the House of Reps and the Senate, Just wait when they
get the White House.
Windfall Tax on Retirement Income

Adding a tax to your retirement is simply another way of saying to the
American people, you're so darn stupid that we're going to keep doing this
until we drain every cent from you. That's what the Speaker of the House is
saying. Read below................

Nancy Pelosi wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income. In other words tax
what you have made by investing toward your retirement. This woman is a nut
case! You aren't going to believe this.

Madam speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market
profits (including Retirement fund, 401K and Mutual Funds! Alas, it is
true - all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed
Minorities!

This woman is frightening.
She quotes...' We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income,
(didn't Marx say something like this), in our country and at the same time
limiting the amount the rich can invest.' ( I am not rich, are you?)

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied: 'We need
to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For
example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country
who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market
windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the
standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'.' (Read that
quote again and again and let it sink in. Lower your retirement, give it to
others who have not worked as you have for it.

Send it on to your friends. I just did!! This lady is out of her mind.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not only is this just stupid, it additionally makes no sense. It is a
DISINCENTIVE to set up a retirement plan. Social Security was never meant
to be a stand-alone plan, but a supplement or catch-all for those whose
retirement plans had failed. This would force SS to become the primary
plan, stressing it further and bringing its collapse even sooner than
predicted - as people would have to work more to overcome this tax, thus
earning more and raising the amount they're entitled to under the current SS
formulas.

I haven't even gone into the fact that she's trying to aid criminals and
those too lazy to hold a job. If the poor could and would work, there'd be
no jobs for the illegals. However, why should they work when they can sit
on their asses and collect welfare? The appropriate place to "increase
taxes" is to ELIMINATE the Earned Income [Tax] Credit - and condition
welfare on holding at least a part-time job (with some reasonable
exceptions: be in school working towards a career-type degree; be disabled,
etc.).

This "does not correspond to anything she actually said or proposed. It's a
parody based on extremes of Democratic stereotypes - expressing scorn for
corporate profits, favoring huge tax rates for high-income earners, wanting
to confiscate money from the rich to give to "illegal immigrants" and
"unemployed minorities" - that was written as a bit of pre-election satire
and falsely attributed to a pair of New York Times reporters. The following
year, someone reworked the piece to insert the equally false claim that Rep.
Pelosi's non-existent windfall tax proposal would include retirement income
as well as stock market profits."

However, even if false, she is stupid enough to suggest it.

Where do come up with this "confiscate money from the rich " shit ? The dems
only tax the poor just like the republicans do. They all tax the poor. The
rich ? what a joke. They do not even pay income tax on anything over 450 k.
That is real fair.

What moronic gibberish!

Try to arm yourself with some facts before posting gibberish.

For the tax year 2005, tax payers in the top 5% of income paid nearly 60% of
all individual income taxes while reporting about 36% of the total income
reported by all tax payers.

The IRS itself estimates that for tax year 2007 taxpayers in the the bottom
50% of income will pay just 3.1% of income taxes collected while the share
for taxpayers in the top 1% of income will pay 39.1% of total individual
income taxes collected.

Speaking of gibberish.

The top 1% pay little of no5hing. Income over 450k is not taxed. They get
all the tax breaks fromall the loop holes in the law.

Thanks! Too bad it is a waste of time to try to teach Our writer anything
even with real facts. I do note the fact he inadvertently properly describe
himself with his ID. "Proud but Stupid" he truly is, but does not realize
just how stupid.

Really?

I see that it's taxed at a rate of 35% for ordinary income.
