DOES NY STATE HAVE AN FTP OF WEB SITE FOR DOWNLOADING NY STATE TAX FORMS?

I followed a lot of links but could not find them by the end of October
1996. I needed a form that was required but which they inexplicably don't
send to me.

They basically replied to me that they didn't have them online. You can
try an e-mail to the address below to see if they do/don't.

If this hasn't been answered yet (our server does not get all
postings):
Yes - you can find it starting at http://www.tax.state.ny.us/ - there
are separate pages for corporate or individual tax forms, etc. Like
the IRS site, it can be busy and slow. Also, you do not have to use
Adobe Acrobat Reader to download it if you don't want to - just
shift/click on the form name.
The IRS web site has a page of links to states with forms online.
