During a recent move I lost my W2 forms from previous years. Where
could I get a copy of them, and what do I do if my previous employer
is no longer in business?

One possibility: Get your earnings history from SSA. That will tell you how
much you made (up to the limit, around $72k).
Another: Ask the IRS, especially if you're looking for the information so that
you can file a return (late).
