iOS 14.x is on track to be as untested as was the infamously buggy iOS 13.x release (proof, yet again, Apple never tests anything sufficiently)

As always, Apple never tests _anything_ sufficiently... sigh.
o Apple 14.x may be as horrid as the infamous iOS 13.x clearly was... sigh

Dateline today...
Verbatim, because apologists _hate_ what Apple is so they deny what it does
o They prefer to believe Apple isn't what it is but what it _says_ it is

o iOS 14.2.1 update with fix for text messaging bug now available for iPhone 12
<https://www.macworld.com/article/3597990/ios-14-2-1-update-with-fix-for-text-messaging-bug-now-available-for-iphone-12.html>

"Also fixes audio issues and lock screen problems."

"Apple on Thursday has released iOS 14.2.1,
an update for the newly-released iPhone 12 series.
The update includes several fixes, as detailed
in the release notes..."

"iOS 14.2.1 addresses the following issues for your ‌iPhone‌"
"Some MMS messages may not be received
Made for ‌iPhone‌ hearing devices could have sound quality issues
when listening to audio from ‌iPhone‌
Lock Screen could become unresponsive on ‌iPhone 12‌ mini"

Apple is all MARKETING and the lowest R&D in all high tech, which is
exemplified in the well-known fact Apple has never tested iOS sufficiently.

Hi Ant,

Yes. This is an iOS 14 update which is, apparently, only for the iPhone 12.
o Today Forbes said it was the iOS 14 that was "not for everyone". :)

o Apple Releases iOS 14.2.1: Unexpected Update That's Not For Everyone
<https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidphelan/2020/11/19/apple-releases-ios-1421-unexpected-update-for-iphone-12-handsets-only/>
"If you have an iPhone 11 or earlier, you wonót be troubled by today's
update. Itó's only for the latest models of iPhones, that is,
iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max."

Apple some day will focus R&D on actual testing of an iOS release. We hope.

iPhone 11 Pro Max didn't get this update offer last night when I
checked. Your link doesn't say 12 only. The only 12 it says is "Lock
Screen could become unresponsive on iPhone 12 mini".

Hi Ant,

Classic Type III apologist Jolly Roger always proves to be.

I find it interesting how Jolly Roger claims you shouldn't get your links
from me simply because Jolly Roger _hates_ that I've never posted incorrect
facts in my decades of posting scores of posts daily on Usenet.

My credibility is 100% on facts (well, probably 99.99% since even I can
slip up with a faux pas, but it will be so extremely rare that it would be
a typo or thinko more than an incorrect statement of fact).

Jolly Roger has absolutely no defense to someone like me who speaks facts.
o So he calls me a troll simply because Jolly Roger has no other defense.

And yet, my facts were correct all along, as you well know.
o They're never wrong.

BTW, there's a good reason that they're never wrong, but it's not because
I'm smart and Jolly Roger is incredibly stupid (he is stupid, but I'm not
all that smart).

The simple answer is that I am not influenced by MARKETING like Jolly Roger
is, which is why people like Jolly Roger & Alan Baker, who _only_ believe
in MARKETING, are always dead wrong on almost everything they claim.

And yet, my facts are 100% correct.
o I gave them to you when you asked.

Please let Jolly Roger know that this "troll" happens to be correct
and that Jolly Roger can call me a troll - but it simply means that's Jolly
Roger's _only_ defense to facts, which is to simply brazenly deny them.

Classic Type III apologist Jolly Roger always proves to be.
