If you plug in headphones does it disconnect Bluetooth (5s)?

I am thinking about Plan B for recording off the iPhone. This one would
just plug a cord into the headphone jack in the phone and run it to the
recording device. The talking part of the interview would be done over a
BT headset. Is this doable?
