Apparently this repeat-offender bug crashes almost anything from Apple...

o *Apple Confirms Serious Problem Affecting Mac, iPad, iPhone Users*
<https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2020/04/28/apple-iphone-ios-13-problem-crash-security-stability-macos-ipad-iphone-users/>

FACT:
"First reported last week, we now know every iPhone running Apple's latest
iOS 13.4.1 software can be made to crash, often completely locking up the
device and even forcing a restore via DFU mode, if it receives a message
containing characters in the Sindhi language. Anyone can initiate the crash
on another person's iPhone just by sending a specific combination of these
characters (excluded from this post for obvious reasons) to Message or
Mail. iPads, Macs and even the Apple Watch can also be affected."

Maybe Apple could use a portion of their huge MARKETING budget for actual
testing for bugs which they've already seen umpteen times in the past...

And where have you ever reported on similar bugs in other companies'
products?

But apparently too ignorant to correctly construct a sig delimiter...

Two "-"s, then a " " = a signature delimiter.

Alan,

The bug exists and the reports that it exist are reliable & factual.
o The fact you hate facts doesn't change the fact they're still facts.

Stick to the facts and stop your childishness please.
o You apologists _hate_ the fact so many bugs exist on your beloved OS.

When I report a bug on Android, nobody asks "did you report it on iOS?".
o When I report a bug on Windows, nobody asks "did you report it on the Mac"?

It's only on the Apple newsgroup this childishness of the blame everyone
else happens, where I doubt you even realize _why_ you always blame
everyone else when Apple products don't turn out to be what Apple MARKETING
fed you to believe they were.

Besides...

We covered elsewhere, in gory detail, the fact I report bugs on all OS's I
own, where you apologists seem to _hate_ the fact that people exist who
report current bugs on _all_ the operating systems they use.
<http://tinyurl.com/comp-mobile-android>
<http://tinyurl.com/alt-os-linux>
<http://alt-comp-os-windows-10.narkive.com>
<http://tinyurl.com/misc-phone-mobile-iphone>
etc.

As I said, you don't likely even realize _why_ every time there's a bug on
iOS or the Mac you want a concomitant bug reported on Windows & Android.
HINT: Apple products aren't what you were told by MAKRETING they would be.

Despite your childish attempt to shift the blame for Apple bugs away from
Apple, your attempt to deflect the issue from the SUBJECT is noted.

And yet, the fact you hate the facts doesn't change the fact of the facts.

FACT:
o This bug exist.

ASSESSMENT:
o This isn't the first time similar bugs were NOT found by Apple.

SUGGESTION:
o Perhaps Apple should allocate a portion of that (presumably huge)
MARKETING budget claiming the OS is tested, to actual testing.

OPINION:
Apple doesn't sufficiently test their OS because they don't have to
o Marketing has already loudly & repeatedly proclaimed it's safer!
--
It's far easier for MARKETING to claim the OS is safe than to test it.

I don't hate the facts. I acknowledge the fact that the bug exists.

I am sticking to the facts.

Show a time you have ever reported on an Android bug.

Just one.

Strange you point to the fora...

...rather than actual bugs you've posted.

I don't want that, Arlen.

That isn't a fact: that's just something you've made up.

Yup.

Fact: you've not pointed to a single bug you've ever reported on from
any company other than Apple.

Fact: lots of bugs are not found by the companies that wrote the software.

"Presumably".

Interesting word for someone who says he only states "facts"

Question:

Where have you ever actually reported on a bug in any other company's
software other than Apple's?

Alan,

You apologists are _desperate_ to deflect away from Apple bugs.
o The fact is the bug exists - and it was reported accurately.
o The fact is these bugs constantly show up - as Apple doesn't find them.

The fact you hate those facts doesn't change that they're still facts.

It's actually shocking (& sad) that people like you actually exist.

Nobody on the adult OS newsgroups asks what you apologists ask.
o *When I report a bug on Android - nobody deflects to Apple OSs.
HINT: I'm no fan of Google's lack of privacy.
<http://tinyurl.com/comp-mobile-android>
EXAMPLE:
o Critical Android Bluetooth Flaw Exploitable without User Interaction
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.mobile.android/9gwMPMo1BTI/LzrqWM37BAAJ>
o How to disable the Google Gmail app on Android Pie from communicating with Google servers
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.mobile.android/DAPSl_8pGvI/ffl5x_-lAAAJ>
o Twitter bug exposed private tweets of some Android users for five years
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.mobile.android/nFGo4I4OFlM/2vV288VTBwAJ>
etc.

Likewise...

o *When I report a bug on Linux - nobody deflects to Apple OSs.
HINT: I'm no fan of the Canonical Unity desktop disaster.
<http://tinyurl.com/alt-os-linux>
EXAMPLE:
o KrOOk vulnerability in billions of Wi-Fi devices left communications open to eavesdropping due to encryption flaw: CVE-2019-15126
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/alt.os.linux/PXAmuustY4c/tpVPcMbpGgAJ>
o Bluetooth flaw (a single character unlocks encryption) forces Bluetooth specification change
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/alt.os.linux/wlh3D9Adong/ECfoQpViDwAJ>
o Why doesn't Ubuntu 18.04 ask to install next to Windows 10 Pro single HDD as a dual boot?
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/alt.os.linux/D7E7FQ1NLNk/vKYj6PF0BwAJ>
etc.

o *When I report a bug on Windows - nobody deflects to Apple OSs.
HINT: I'm no fan of Microsoft's lack of privacy.
<http://alt-comp-os-windows-10.narkive.com>
EXAMPLE:
o Newly found unfixable vulnerability in Intel chipsets of the past five years may compromise platform encryption keys
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/microsoft.public.windowsxp.general/FqLMglRSxlA/7JTfDcckBAAJ>
o A zero-day vulnerability in iCloud and iTunes on Windows PCs allowed hackers to install ransomware undetected.
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/microsoft.public.windowsxp.general/xVu_O8Qeyss/KCHzqSyfCAAJ>
o Firefox disabled all add-ons because a certificate expired
<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/microsoft.public.windowsxp.general/YH8RMeKLVQg/XDS5V4gOBQAJ>
etc.
NOTE: It's inherently difficult to search for Win10 Usenet posts because of
the lack of archival by Google for the Windows 7, 8, Vista, and 10 ngs.

It's only on the Apple newsgroups you apologist morons are so _desperate_
to blame everyone but Apple for Apple's innate lack of OS testing.

You likely don't even realize _why_ you're so desperate, Alan.
o HINT: Think about what MARKETING fed you to believe about Apple, Alan.

You also likely don't even realize why iOS 13 had so many bugs, Alan.
o HINT: They don't _need_ to test their operating systems, Alan.
--
Apple owners tend to gravitate only toward MARKETING and not actual fact.
Simple test: Ask them the difference between Android & iOS...
(try not to laugh when you hear what they try to tell you)

You've found a couple of times you've reported on bugs in other OSes
besides Apple's. Bravo.

Now show how you've ever criticized any other company the way you
criticize Apple.

Provide BOTH the QUOTE and the LINK to the source for your quote.

The real *facts* are that ...

A. Apple has already fixed the issue with OS updates.

B. Arlen Holder is simply a braindead, know-nothing, anti-Apple,
crossposting troll. *EVERYONE* needs to add the moronic idiot

Not all updates require inteactive effort?

(Can’t say, I'm on the beta for 13.5)

Adults notice how the child-like apologist "Your Name" reacts to facts.

I've studied apologists where I think child-like apologists such as this
"Your Name" don't even realize why they _hate_ facts about Apple products.

HINT: Apple isn't even close to what MARKETING fed them to believe it was.
o Hence apologists like "Your Name" _hate_ what Apple turns out to be.

But the fact apologists hate facts doesn't change they're _still_ facts.
