Hello,

Many of the cases from Otter come with a protective (adhesive) plastic
film for the iPhone6 glass.

It also seems to cover the fingerprint iTouch sensor button.

Any problems with this added thickness, etc. ?

Thanks,
B.

I have the Otterbox Defender for my iPhone 6 and it doesn't cover the
iTouch sensor button. I can't imagine that they would offer any
cover that does.

Hello,

Thanks for reply.

Funny, Ours seems to have a very thin membrane of plastic over the button.

Am wondering if it is perhaps due to a round cutout on the Otter
protector plastic for the button that was not removed prior to the
application ?

Or,... ?

Any other thoughts ?

Regards,
Bob

Which Otter cover do you have?

Hi,

I have the OtterBox Defender.

Not at all sure if there is a plastic cutout for the button that was not
removed when the case was put on,
or if the plastic/membrane (seems to be quite thin) is actually meant to
cover the button, and there is no cutout ?

I think that there is a cutout because there's nothing on my Defender
that covers the button. Take the cover off and you'll probably find
the problem. Not a hard thing to do.
