Syncing apps not working

I am new to iPhone.

I bought and downloaded my first app about 3 weeks ago and it synced
fine with iTunes. Then a few days ago I bought another app. And today
there was a free update for my fist app.

Now when I try ti sync, iTunes says it has but the upgraded app and the
newly bought app don't sync.

I am using iPhone 3.1.2, Win7 64 bit, iTunes 9.0.2.25.

Can anyone help?

When your iPhones plugged in and iTunes is running, click on your phone in
devices on the left. Then click on the 'Applications' tab and make sure the
'Sync Applications' box is ticked.
If I were you I would go through the other tabs, making sure the equivalent
boxes, for music, podcasts, audio books etc, are ticked also.
