Does Apple allow privacy based local (encrypted) backup of MMS/SMS messages
& caller history like Android has?
As described here today, Android has a plethora of privacy-based free,
ad free, gsf free & google free automatic or manually scheduled SMS/MMS
message and call history backup to local storage on the device, all by its
itty bitty self.

Android doesn't need an entire second computer, nor the cloud, nor the
Internet, nor even any mother-ship account that a user must log into, and
certainly nor any mother-ship untested horridly insecure bloatware to give
you that kind of free privacy for your MMS/SMS & caller history backups.
Android can even encrypt that local backup, without ever needing to put even
a single bit of your private data on the known-to-be vulnerable Internet.
Does the iPhone all by its itty bitty self have anywhere near that kind of
powerful free local backup privacy for MMS/SMS & caller history backups?
If so, how?
If not, then it's another iOS privacy hole for Steve to include in his docs.

The iCloud is NOT encrypted since Apple can & does scan your private data.
