Sidebar - Back in 1970s, I met some rural Dakotians whose English
dialect was fractured. They would have been raised by parents having
children born before WWII. I suspect their grandparents were raised
without radio since electricity was not available to rural folks.
These Dakotians I met were raised in an enviroment where outside
influences were limited. I would venture to say if I met Dakotians
born after 1960, their dialet would be more typical of midwesterns.
Point here is monkey see, monkey do, and I suspect in Mongolia,
outside influences (radio, tv, etc) has affected how they behave.
