Dear RFERL-L subscribers,

I do aplogize for the replies to individual queries that were
posted to the entire group yesterday. Some of you received
multiple copies of some messages due to a broken mailer; I
apologize for that as well.

Please note that there are more than 9,000 subscribers to
RFERL-L. Because there are so many of you, and only one
of me, I must ask for your help and, above all during this
transition period, your patience.

I would like to repeat some basic listserv instructions:
(1) to unsubscribe: send e-mail to LIST...@ubvm.cc.buffalo.edu
In the *text* of your message, type: UNSUB RFERL-L

(2) send listserv commands (e.g., index, ref card, review) to
LIST...@ubvm.cc.buffalo.edu
Be sure to specify the list name (e.g., index RFERL-L)

(3) to learn more about the listserv software, send e-mail to
LIST...@ubvm.cc.buffalo.edu
In the text of your message, type HELP
