Google Groups advanced-search engine seems broken. Second opinion?

When I go to this URL:

and fill in these parts of the form:

..
leave the rest of the form blank or default, and then click the
submit button:

the first result that comes back shows like this:

That WebPage has no mention of either my first or last name, no
mention of 'uh3t', no mention of 'bindings', no mention of 'essay',
and no mention of the newsgroup 'comp.programming'. It has lots of
mentions of 'binders', but only in the sausage context, not in the
context cited regarding writing an essay on binders and bindings.
It seems to be a completely bogus search result. Can somebody
please explain what is going on?

Update: After I posted a few days ago, Google Groups advanced
search got broken even worse than it was broken before. Now when I
do a search for all articles ever posted that mention 'uh3t', it
comes up with fewer than fifty articles total. It's as if their
entire newsgroup archive has disappeared from their index.

Does anybody reading this thread have any contact inside Google who
will please explain what the fuck is going on there?
