Saturday night The Panting Brothers were playing The Ship and
I was tempted to go but I had already arranged to meet someone
at Erin's.

At Erin's Connemara were playing and they did two long sets
starting at 10:30 p.m., one set of about an hour and a half,
then a long break, then another set of about an hour. Their
current lineup is Glen Hiscock on fiddle and mandolin and
vocals, Mike Hanrahan on acoustic guitar and bouzouki and
vocals, and Paul Hiscock on electric bass and backing vocals.
They did a mix of traditional tunes and songs and some songs
off Mike Hanrahan's solo CDs.
They were very good, and I recommend them to everyone.
