How much is the estate of the late legendary singer/songwriter Laura
Nyro worth?

'Laura Nyro has more money than God'---Patti Labelle
Well, is it so? Did she guard the money before her passing?
The estate went from her lover Maria Antonia Desiderio, who also
passed on, to a friend by the name of Patti DeLauria, but supposedly
her son, Gil Bianchini, is now 21 and getting control of it.
How much?????

I doubt anyone here will know your answer here but if you wanna know bad
enough, find out where the will was probated (usually her state and county
of residence when she died) and approx date of death. Then ask the county
clerk (or whoever handles probate records) to see if the estate filed an
inventory. If so, and it's public record, you can order a copy of it,
usually a buck or so per page. You can also get copies of the probated will.

I doubt that I will find an answer because evidenty the late legendary
singer/songwriter with a Columibia/Sony lifetime contract and a David
Geffen connection, took things in hand before her passing. It's
typical Laura Nyro and evidently right from the grave she will
preserve her mystic and image. Athough Columia/Sony are releasing her
entire catalog digitally remastered, I believe they have to work with
the estate. Offered $400,000.00 after her contract was up, she
declined and formed her own mucic company.
Always vieled in secrecy, I can only imagine what her lawyers and
accountants did to safeguard things.
Yet, magazines of rock and roll used to report on these things and
evidently don't anymore.
I like knowing and if 'Billboard; can't cough it up....I really don't
are anymore.

From what I understand, the estate when from Laura's lifetime
companion to Patti DeLauria and now Gil Bianchini her son is taking it
over. It seems to be a legal mess and maybe lawsuits are involved for
may reasons. I won't go to the trouble to find out the way you
suggested because at a buck a page, I could probably buy her whole
collection of material twiice over.
