Tulsa County District Judge David Winslow was arrested Monday night as a
result of allegations arising from an incident last week at the Tulsa
Country Club. The Judge was allegedly caught fondling a young boy in the
men's room of the exclusive club. The boy's name has been withheld because
he is a juvenile. When police arrived on the scene, Winslow allegedly
threatened to have all their badges if they didn't let him go. The Judge
was tested for and arrested on a charge of drunkenness last week, World
reporters discovered, and a hearing is scheduled June 29 on that charge.
Police reports leaked exclusively to Tulsa World's own Service state that a
maintenance man heard muffled noises coming from a stall in the men's room
next to the golf shop.
When the janitor investigated, he found a youngster in a cub scout outfit
tied up above the stool. It was later learned that the 8-year old boy was
gagged with his own boy scout scarf and several other boy scout scarfs were
tied together to restrain the youngster from the ceiling mounts of the
remote stall.
The janitor said that Winslow was underneath the naked child's buttocks,
whose legs were bound with his scout shorts, and was attempting to lick the
child's lower abdomen area. The janitor also said the Judge had both hands
in his unzipped trousers, was apparently masturbating, and there were spots
of a white gelatinous substance taken as evidence from the outside of
Winslow's pants.
The janitor, who wished to remain unnamed for fear of retaliation by the
Judge, said that when Winslow was disturbed by the janitor Winslow did not
seem to care, but continued on and smelled strongly of alcohol. Tulsa
World has learned that it is common knowledge among trial lawyers in and
around Tulsa County that when Winslow shows up for a social function,
especially without his wife, he is the first in line at the cash bar, often
before the bartender has had time to set up.
Tulsa World's own Service has learned that Judge Winslow has been very
active with the Boy Scouts of America and the Kiwanis Club.
When contacted at the local headquarters of the Boy Scouts in Tulsa, a
spokesperson for the council had no official comment about the charges.
However, a source close to the council stated on grounds of anonymity that
Judge Winslow was feared by many in the organization because of his liberal
judicial rulings and reputation for allowing adoptions in his court by
homosexual and bisexual couples, masquerading in disguise as heterosexual
couples, who could not have children by natural means.
When contacted at the Kiwanis national headquarters, Tulsa World's own
Service was referred to Kiwanis Trustee Jack McGee of Irving, Texas. McGee
had not heard of the charges but did say Kiwanis disapproves of drunkenness
and child abuse.
A pre trial hearing is set for June 30 in the matter of sexual assault of a
child and molestation of a minor.
Winslow was released on his own recognizance, which has prompted an outcry
among local child abuse groups who are demanding Winslow remain jailed
without bond pending his hearings.
Winslow, a Democrat, was elected as District Judge in a landslide in
Republican Tulsa county.

Yet another piece of garbage riddled with illogic and presented as fact

Why the numerous references to the kid's "scout" this and that? Is that
pertainent?
The comment about the white gelatineous substance... presumable an
ejaculation? If there was one shred of truth to this, why in the world
would the man still be there, supposedly masturbating in a public
restroom while perpetuating such a crime, and why would he remain there
after he'd gotten his satisfaction? What's a kid in a boy scout uniform
doing at the Country Club?
Perhaps the most important question of all: Why do people put junk like
this up in the first place?

Oh, and while we're on contortions of the facts, if this judge was
supposedly beneath the child's naked buttocks, how in the HELL would he
be licking the lower abdomen? Must be an extraordinary tongue, that,
eh?
Folks, I only responded to this lest anyone take the original post
seriously. Anonymous is clearly just looking to stir up dung - even
where there isn't any.

Somebody's trying to smear Judge Winslow and/or gay men. I've searched
the Tulsa World database for all of 1997 so far and there are only TWO
references to Judge Winslow in their stories. Both point to a letter to
the editor, or I guess a phone call to the editor. I quote the lead
herewith:
"DISTRICT JUDGE DAVID WINSLOW was

colleague, James A. Hogue Sr. and Hogue's wife,
Kathleen. "
So, I figure the anonymous poster must be someone involved in the above
case who is trying to smear Winslow over some financial matter or other.
