I think that JC Penneys has more to offer - and looks better than Sears.
I have brought in my own props, different outfits, and asked for
specific poses - all with no problems from JC Penney. I feel they do
better work, overall.
We join the portrait club - which is nice if you plan on getting
pictures taken several times in 2 years - it pays for the sitting fee,
and you get coupons in the mail. The coupons that I will be using soon
are for unlimited sheets for $4 - an unbeatable value! :) If you get
enough pictures taken, you also get free 8"x 10" , but I don't go for
the big pictures.
Good luck in finding someone you like! :)

When I picked up the pictures, I told the person working there how we
felt, and he basically said that he normally worked at a different store,
and he had been having problems with the one we went to. I told him that
we wouldn't be returning and why. I will never get portraits at Penney's
again. (It's their loss, because my first baby is 6 months old. We'll be
getting a lot more pictures made.)
I think that I am going to try Sears next time which will be as soon as
Michelle can sit up a little better.
