Jessie will be two in July! Can you believe it's been two years?! She's
still nursing several times a day but less than she was 6 months ago. I'm
happy, she's happy so we're not messing with a good thing. She eats
everything, even finishes off the older two's food, *grin*. It's funny now
that I'm writing this, my goal was to breastfeed her a minimum of two years.
She's a pistol, I tell you. Always laughing, giggling, running, playing and
climbing. She's also an artist and has managed to decorate a few walls
here! She's the clown in the family. Jackie and Jake are doing fantastic.
They are all like peas in a pod.
I'll try and lurk but knowing me I'll disappear again after a month.
OK, so who is pregnant or just had a baby? Don't make me go through the
archives!!

Hey! I'm on my way up your neck of the woods next weekend for the summer and
I was thinking about you. Glad to hear your art is really taking off.

surprised ;) I cannot believe she's two!

Glad everything is going so well! Amazing that Jessie is almost two. My
Jessica is doing great, too, and I had a baby boy, Christopher, in April.
He's 9 weeks old now!
Hope you stick around! How is Jessica L?

Hello. I was just thinking about you wondering where you went. I'm happy
that you deserted us for such a good reason!! :-D. Congratulations on the
art success and also on the nursing milestone!
We are all doing fine and no announcements here ;-)

Welcome back! It took me a couple of goes at that first sentence to realise
you hadn't just been to the loo...
Hey, Kandace... Glad to see you back. Time does fly, doesn't it?
Any more art work to share?

Oooh, I missed the link the first time.
That's beautiful, Kandace

Thanks! I still can't believe something so gorgeous came out of me. :)
Phoebe :)
Hey, glad to see you lurking about again. I mainly just lurk, Matthew just
turned 2 and I have a feeling we will hit the 3 mark before weaning occurs
to him. Stick around a bit, if you can. Miss hearing about you guys.

That's too scary!
Phoebe *glad she reminded him his title is now grandpa,
because those pics used to be titled 'dad'* :)
Not Kandace, but since I know, she's doing ok. Working and going to school.
The girls are doing great and Julie is a spitfire.

Congratulations on the book cover job! I hope it leads to many more
artistic opportunities for you. Check in more often, will ya?
> OK, so who is pregnant or just had a baby?
Me! :-) Expecting #2, a boy, due September 4 but *hoping* for another
one on the early side (Julie was born 13 days before EDD). August
around here is going to be no time to be 9 months pregnant. Julie is 2
now, is in perpetual motion and laughs a lot. It's fun.

I'm going to try, but posting will be infrequent. I saw Jess a month back.
We're both so busy we forget to keep in touch. I'll have to call her to see
what is up.

I see further down you found the link, but just in case anyone else misses
it, http://kandacewright.com/
She's doing really well. We decided to put her in Kindergarten and she'll
repeat first grade next year. She's chronological the youngest in the first
grade and then emotionally she's also immature. The switch was just
awesome. Her behaviour improved, she was able to help other children which
empowered her. Her academic skills are ahead of her peers (despite all her
behaviours) so she gets extra tutoring on the side to keep her going. She
now wants to be in the classroom and will make appropiate chioces to stay
there. She hasn't sworn in ages either. Though yesterday's K graduation
was a bit much and she lost it. So her aide and I brought her into another
room, she counted herself calm and was able to rejoin the activities.
Keith and I can't get over the changes in her, she's happier, she takes
pride in things she does, she is more articulate though admittedly she still
struggles compared to other children her age. She's also getting really
tall. I'd worry that she's not gained any weight in a year and a half but
she's growing up so she must be getting enough, lol.
Thanks for asking. There is another story about our second meeting with the
developmental pediatrician. But this is long enough and I'll save it for
another day. Plus that I will not want that archived.

Wow, two already! Yeah, I'm thinking that 3 years is going to be here and
will still be nursing. I'll try, or at least if I disappear, I'll come
back. You just can't get rid of me, you know, lol.

Nice to see a familiar name up on the board. I just popped in to see who might
be around. I had my son Owen in the November after you had Jessie. Glad to
hear all is well. I haven't been on in ages - more than a year. Is anyone else
out there from that long ago?

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's been that long! Good to hear from you,
Kandee. We're all the same, still nursing like crazy, Sproutkin's gone
from being a picky non-eater to being a great eater (MKB was right about
the magical 14-month switch and interest in solids), reading the groups
as time allows.
