Thought I'd share my recipe for labor-inducing guacamole. So far, it has
worked once (served it to my girlfriend who went into labor a few hours
later) and I'm going to make a big batch as soon as my husband gets back in
town (I'm due next Friday).

Into the food processor with all the following:

1 clove garlic
handful of cilantro
juice of a lime (toss in the grated peel, too, if you like a citrusy taste)
1/2 red onion
3 large avocados
one or two ripe plum tomatoes
pinch salt

- tastes pretty good too. - Sophie

Okay, I'll "bite"--what makes it labor-inducing?

Nothing at all other than it's the last thing my friend ate before

My father was watching television a few years back and there
was a doctor showing different types of accupressure on people.
One of the pressure points can rid menstrual cramps in the
blink of an eye and that's all I've been using since my
cycle started when I was 14. I would lie on my stomach and
dad would press his thumb on one side and his fore finger on the
other side on the fleshy part of my ankle. After a couple
of minutes, the bleeding would flow easier, and the cramps would
be gone.

The warning was this: Should not be done on a pregnant woman,
it could induce premature labor.
