Hi all -

After reading all the posts on vaccinations, I was discussing it with a
friend of mine who as far as I knew did not have his daughter
vaccinated. I found out that she in fact was receiving homiopathic
vaccinations. Does anyone out there, know what this means or have any
experience with these?

Part of the reason I ask, is that after his daughter received the "p"
aspect of her DPT homiopathic vaccine, she came down with whooping cough
and was so so so ill. For those, who know anyhing about this, would she
have also come down with this if she had had the regular vaccine? I want
to learn more about this, so any real info is appreciated!
Thanks!!!!

smiles,
Maria

I think you'd be better off addressing your question to a qualified
naturopath or herbalist. I know that "homeopathic" vaccines are quite
popular among people I know, but I know little about the ingredients or
efficacy. Certainly if there were any chance of contracting the actual
disease from the vaccine it wouldn't be worth pursuing... I hope it was just
an awful case of terrible luck. Pertussis is still quite rare in the U.S.
My ped told me the chance of my child getting it (average child) is about
1:30,000.
