SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a
team player:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
Minimum ten years customer service experience, transportation or
marine experience preferred
At least five years of management experience, preferably 10 years with
previous customer service management experience required
Experience in more than one of the following disciplines:
Documentation, Logistics, Marine & Terminal Operations, Human
Resources, Marketing, and Finance
Well-developed business acumen
Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Customer service-oriented
Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative
Excellent verbal, telephone, and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment.
A professional, positive and enthusiastic attitude with superior
interpersonal and negotiation skills
Proficient in computer use
Strong listening, feedback and problem solving skills.
Effective training and facilitation skills.
