Software Engineer
Duties:
* Define system scope through research and fact-finding * Modify
complex information system components * Develop detail program
specifications * Develop documentation on applications * Create test
data and unit test changes * Analyze and resolve complex production
problems * Responsible for maintaining various application components
Qualifications Requirements:
* 5 or more years of Insurance Industry Experience - Preferably
Property & Casualty * 5-7 years of experience in software development
* Experience in or an interest in learning Duck Creek Technology
Systems * Programming skills in any of the following: C++, VB Script,
VB, .NET, Java Script, XML Schemas, COBOL, RPG, or similar * Capable
of developing and maintaining various application components * Good
analytical and problem solving skills * Excellent verbal and written
communication skills * Demonstrated high level of initiative and a
team player * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in the areas of Computer
Science, MIS or Software Engineering
