Dear Sir/Madam,

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a PhD candidate in search of
a position suited to my experience and education which I would like to
present here in short.

In May 1987, I got my first degree from Tehran University, faculty
of engineering. After graduation, I worked four years in various fields,
which I have described in my CV.

Since January 1991, I have been a graduate student and a research
assistant at McGill university in the department of Electrical Engineering,
and have fulfilled the requirements for the Master's
degree in Electrical Engineering (specializing in Artificial Intelligence,
Expert Systems, and Software development).

For the last two years, I have been concentrating on a research under
the supervision of Prof. Alfred Malowany focused on Patient Data Management
System (PDMS) for the Montreal Children's Hospital at McGill Research Center
for Intelligent Machines (McRCIM). I have developed a software to automate the
processes of monitoring the patients' condition and subsequent preliminary
medical diagnosis. The project consists of two parts: first an Expert System
was designed to implement the process of automation, written in CLIPS. In the
second part, a Graphical User Interface was developed to visually display the
results extracted from the Expert System. The latter was entirely implemented
using C language. This project has been installed and used in the Intensive
Care Unit of the Montreal Children's Hospital.

I anxiously await your reply. I am sure you will find that
my training and experience enable me to provide you with the high quality
of service which your organization requires of its employees.

Very truly yours,

Abolfazl Hosseinzadeh
