IT Manager
1. Ensure that all suppliers deliver contracted services
(availability, response, and customer satisfaction) within agreed
levels of service. This position will work with the suppliers to
identify actions for achieving excellent performance.
2. Ensure that suppliers react immediately to any unplanned service
disruptions in order to limit impact on Carrier?s business operations
3. Work directly with Carrier project teams and suppliers to ensure
that new environments comply with our technology standards. Make sure
each data center?s operations are in full compliance with all our
security policies and procedures.
In addition to the position?s primary responsibilities, this position
will assist with managing Carrier?s global server management program.
The program?s services include, but are not limited to, asset
management, technology refresh / consolidation, and security patch
management.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years large-scale IT
operations management experience.Thorough knowledge of IT operational
processes, standards, policies, and practices along with strong verbal
and written communications skills is required.
A BS degree with 10+ years of experience in the Information Technology
field is preferred. An MS degree is a plus.
