DESCRIPTION:
Director, Sales and Marketing for a world class design and manufacturing
company. Company has long history of innovation and patents covering Design,
Power Control, Thermal Management, Backplanes and manufacturing processes.
Markets to DOD, Prime Contractors, Test and Measurement, Telecom/Datacom, and
Medical industries. Major responsibilities, This is an opportunity to join a
solid manufacturer offering technical solutions and products for both
commercial and government applications.The companys 200 plus employees are
located in Ohio and New York. The Director of Sales and Marketing will have
experience directing similar operations in growth or turn-around situations.
The position requires residency in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will
meet the following requirements. Must not have restrictive or enforceable
employment contract non-compete agreement. Needs 3+ years experience with a
verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding quota, establishing and
managing relationships with rep firms, managing direct sale forces, developing
marketing strategy for manufacturer in 20 Million to 50 Million range, RFQs,
and general knowledge of engineering. Experience with DOD, military markets,
aerospace. Excellent communication skills, written and oral Experience in
developing new accounts and ability to qualify potential clients effectively
High energy and must be a self-starter able to develop sales opportunities
Ability to manage and grow the entire sales process Creative thinker
wanted.
