RFID System Test Development Engineer

Required Skills

* Bachelor"s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or closely related
field. * 4+ years of developing test tools and testing embedded
software products with wireless or modem capabilities (i.e., cell
phones, WiFi, PDAs, etc.) or equivalent relevant experience. *
Proficiency doing software development in C or C++ and strong
scripting skills (Perl preferred), with the ability to learn new
scripting languages and develop scripts. * Hands on experience with
hardware with a strong understanding of RF transmission. * Prior
experience with automation and automated test tools. * Familiarity
with various software development tools. * Demonstrated attention to
detail with a strong process orientation. * Excellent writing and
verbal communication skills in English. * Experience and understanding
of RF protocols embedded wireless products * QA process experience:
requirement capture, development process, testing, version control,
bug tracking

Additional Desirable Qualifications

* Linux experience. * Experience writing technical documentation. *
Knowledge of communication systems. * Experience with validating
embedded products featuring wireless or network interfaces. *
Experience with wireless communications protocols. * Experience with
network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, etc.) * Experience with device
drivers
