MWH is recruiting for a Senior Consultant, Work/Maintenance Management. We currently have a position available in our MWH asset management services practice that focuses on and requires experience in working with utility and local government clients on optimizing their operations and maintenance-related business processes.

The Senior Consultant, Work/Maintenance Management will collaborate with other consulting and software engineering staff on defining, creating, and enhancing best practices specifically focused on work/maintenance management. This individual will lead the definition of MWH’s work/maintenance management consulting and software solution offerings. In addition, the Senior Consultant, Work/Maintenance Management will serve as the global work/maintenance management subject matter expert and provide consulting services in the areas of current-state business process assessment, business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling, and future-state business process definition. In conjunction with software engineering staff, the Senior Consultant, Work/Maintenance Management will define data flows and assist clients with software selection and integration strategy, particularly within the asset management, work management, and maintenance management business processes.

Familiarity with leading work/maintenance management products, such as mro Software’s Maximo, Datastream’s 7i/mp2, Azteca’s Cityworks, Mincom’s Ellipse, Hansen Technologies’ products, and Severn Trent Systems’ STORMS, and how they can be configured to support work/maintenance management best practices will enable the Senior Consultant to provide consulting leadership within the client’s working environment. This knowledge and experience must include in-depth understanding of the role filled by work/maintenance management systems in delivering labor productivity improvements, performance measures and metrics, asset management, inventory control, materials management, procurement, and financial management.

Qualifications:

· In-depth knowledge, strong skills, and proven experience in work/maintenance management business processes and enabling systems

· Experience in modeling client business processes in the work/maintenance management functions, defining best practices, performing gap analyses, and formulating recommendations for enhancements and corrective actions that result in significant business improvements

· Knowledge of task-level, work/maintenance management process benefits that process adjustments and enhancements can produce

· Knowledge and experience with other closely related business systems, such as time and attendance reporting, human resources, general ledger, project accounting, fixed assets, procurement, and accounts payable and inventory are desirable

· A minimum of 5 years of providing consulting services to the utilities and/or local government markets

· Familiarity with water, wastewater, and energy utility and local government business drivers and issues

· Experience with business process modeling and/or business process automation tools

· A track record of successful client engagements with asset-intensive industries

· Business development experience with utilities and local government clients

· Experience in linking utility-industry-appropriate, software tools and systems with business processes is highly desirable

· Experience in managing consulting engagements involving business process redesign tasks and change management projects, proposals, and sales efforts is desirable

· Experience/familiarity with change management, strategic planning, and organizational design is desirable

· Career experience in working for water, waste water, and energy utilities or local government is a plus

· BS in related technical field, MBA preferred
