Computer and Database Administration
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus two years experience
providing computer tech support for multiple offices and individuals;
equivalent education/experience considered. Knowledge related to PC
desktop and laptop computers, Microsoft Office 2007, Vista, Windows
XP, Lotus Notes, Adobe, Blackboard, conferencing software, PDAs,
networking, and printer, scanner and fax technology necessary. Must
have knowledge in technical aspects of computing and support,
including word processing and the internet. Ability to work
effectively with others essential. Must have skills running various
front-and back-end programs. Effective communication and interpersonal
skills necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred. Computer tech support experience in
research or university settings helpful. Knowledge in advanced
computer technologies and operating systems desirable. Knowledge of
Active Directory preferred. Leadership skills helpful.
