Scope: Maintain the moderized IRS Oracle databases. Perform
services pertaining to configuration, integration, and
monitoring of applications in a Unix Sun-Solaris mid range
environment. Perform change control, data loads, monitor
Oracle statistics for reorgs, checks, creation of objects,
data backup and recovery, database security. Support Web
Server maintenance. Perform trouble shooting, writing
utilities, adding and removing database users, backing up
databases and preparing recovery procedures. Also required
to set up, configure, and tune databases, perform procedure
documentation and knowledge transfer.
