One of the largest and most successful biopharmaceutical companies
today, having successfully developed and launched the first of several
new breakthrough drugs focused in the cancer and inflammation fields
is looking for a Sr. Scientist. This Company is based in San Diego,
California, and is working for the discovery and preclinical
development of next-generation drugs designed to regulate
disease-causing genes and having application in multiple therapeutic
areas.
Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. in synthetic organic or
medicinal chemistry and at least 1-5 years of postdoctoral or
industrial-pharmaceutical experience. Strong synthetic and analytical
skills with an understanding of modern drug discovery are essential.
Familiarily with combinatorial chemistry or parallel synthesis is
desirable. The successful individuals should possess good
interpersonal skills and have a desire to work in interdisciplinary
