In this position you will independently audit and approve contract laboratories for analytical work; review, critique, and transfer analytical methods to contract laboratories; and interact with regulatory agencies and prepare documents for inclusion in INDs, NDAs and annual reports. You will also work closely with project teams and contract companies to provide analytical support for the production of clinical, stability and commercial supplies. Other responsibilities include the characterization of bulk drug and development of test methods and method validation for pre-clinical and clinical formulation development.
We require a BS degree with 8-10 years experience, or MS with 6-8 years experience, or Ph.D. with 4-6 years. All experience must have been gained from the pharmaceutical industry in analytical chemistry. Must have experience in generating, reviewing and reporting data for INDs and NDAs. Good verbal and written communication skills a must. Experience in supervising outside contractors is an asset.
