Location: White Plains, NY
Duration: Permanent / Full time
Travel: 20%

ONLY GC’S AND CITIZENS

The client will be leveraging ECC 6.0 and CRM 7.0 including the
Customer Interaction Center. ECC will be the cornerstone of the order
to cash process for the client's new Global Core Service Model, along
with Vistex for Pricing and Promotions. The client is looking for
seasoned SAP professionals to add to their staff of Business and IT
high performing teams. This is a unique opportunity to build a new
platform that will enable the client's aggressive growth plans.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the SMT application integration design using SAP
NetWeaver, SAP PI, SAP BOBJ Data Services and other client middleware
solutions including WEB Methods, Informatica and MQ Series
• Design the application integration architecture with high
performance, high consistency, high reliability and high scalability
to support real-time, publish & subscribe, ETL, and batch design
patterns
• Lead and coordinate the infrastructure instance strategy design
• Deliver the architecture design that enables the client SMT core
model processes
• Deliver the client SMT core application design on time with high
quality and on budget
• Deliver interfaces definitions that meet SMT integration
requirements while promoting reusable designs that can be leveraged
across the client where appropriate.
• Implement the client SMT core solution in local markets on time with
high quality and on budget
• Promote and implement the client enterprise application architecture
design strategy
• Transition in and retain the technical architecture design knowledge
from the external system integrator
• Maintain the architecture design documentation and provide training
to the developers
• Support the Avon SMT system implementations working collaboratively
with the client's System Integrators and partners and SAP technical
team resources, as needed
• Advocate and enforce applicable standards, policies, procedures, and
best practices
• Partner with peers when coordinating delivery and problem-solving
across IT functions; secure the involvement and participation of other
IT organizations as needed to deliver high quality application
solutions and support
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business and IT
stakeholders within the client

Qualification:
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, is
desirable
• 7+ years IT solution delivery experience
• 5+ years of strong technical architecture design experience using
SAP NetWeaver (including PI and BOBJ Data Services), WEB Services, ETL
and other middleware tools
• 5+ years of application integration design experience for high
volume and real time messaging in large and remote system landscape
environments
• 3+ years international business working experience
• A full cycle SAP implementation experience in a multi-national
environment is a requirement
• Strong business process/system analytical skills
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of discretion and judgment
• Proficiency in written and spoken English. Other language skills are
an asset
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve problems and manage
processes within a complex environment
• Excellent documentation skills
• Very good presentation skills
• Proactive in learning and highly self-motivated
• Good team player and ability to lead a team in a matrix organization
model
• Knowledge of enterprise-level applications and understanding of
distributed setup (data centers across globe)
