working on my thesis towards Master of Science in Control Engineering.

· Graduate thesis: implementation of an on-line fiber optics based optical
sensor with real-time spectrometric analysis to monitor and evaluate the
performance of the deinking flotation:
- conducted an independent research of the process.
- designed and performed experiments.

· Control projects - implemented hardware (continous) and software (discrete)
driven controllers:
- experimental systems control (i.e. flow-level, temperture and distillation
column) with Toshiba and Bailey DCS.
- performed system identification of the temperature system.
- implemented real-time robust and adaptive controllers.
- carried out simulations for the predictive (GPC) and intelligent control
(fuzzy logic) approaches.
· Undergraduate thesis - recommended evaporation with successive incineration
as a method for an effluent treatment:
- designed experimental equipment.
- evaluated effluent properties (viscosity, boiling point rise, heating
value).
· Plant design project - a member of a team responsible for the design of an
upgraded recausticizing area for the pulp mill:
- designed and cost equipment (pumps, tanks, piping network, clarifiers,
filters, etc.).
- contacted suppliers for equipment specifications and costs.
- performed mass and energy balances.

- conducted group tutorials and supervised laboratories.
- evaluated exams and laboratory reports.
· Owner and Business Manager of Cleanway - janitorial services company,
1990-present:
