JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides direct care to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses,
conditions,
and diseases: Reviews and implements physician orders and reports the
patient’s
response to care; Administers medications in accordance with physician's
orders; works as member of healthcare team with RN's and caregivers.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Requires:
graduation from an accredited school of nursing/technical training
program; licensed in the State of Florida; current BCLS certification.
1-yr
current work experience as an LPN/LVN.
Ability to spend approximately 50% of
time standing and walking; Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without
assistance;
Ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. with or
without assistance
Has a working knowledge of common disease pathophysiology
and common diagnostic tests and procedures;Ability to interprets a variety
of
technical data as appropriate to assigned responsibilities and scope of
practice (e.g. lab and diagnostic test results, monitoring equipment,
infusion
pumps, etc.);Understands instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram
or
schedule form; Ability to apply basic math to job situations (e.g. drug
calculations, intake and output calculations).
Active Florida drivers
license adn reliable transportation required for home health positions
