Markets behave according to some major factors. They can move together or
be mixed primarily. Secondarily one market can follow another market.
Money in mixed markets is moving from one to another usually.
Broad advances indicate money coming into the markets.
The last few days has seen money begin to come into the markets with
traditional money coming in first. As it continues on a broader and broader
basis, the less traditional input of capital (new investors who took a
beating) will be coming in. The Naz is leading the NYSE for this reason.
You will notice that it seems like the media is running a little late in
their work and our investments are running well ahead of the herd.
Rotation.
We have several streams of money running to be able to spread risk (for us,
all risks are relatively low) and to be able to rotate through the streams
day after day. Today our oldest stock is ripe. Sell EDO. The value is
28.25. The reason is the exit sequence list.
Our ownership is for given duration about 6 to 8 days ordinarily according
the past performance of the stock.
Since the remaining stocks are continuing their BO's and growth that we
expected so for this we need to raise the stops at 11:15 and 13:30 to keep
the offset working for 30 min people. This is new to you. Use the 30 min
and put in the BO trend line and set the offset to it. Call in the new
stops. David was working this into his charts already instinctively and
intuitively. Congrats.
Be aware that our primary goal is to have cash to invest in great new
stocks.
Cycles
This is important. Cycles occur in individual stocks in an orderly way
based on market theory. EDO has just finished its up "natural" up trend in
a robust general broad market advance Naz leading and NYSE following. The
Cycles of RI and ANSS are BO's principally. The MACD of CACI is showing us
an entwined climbing rate of growth. This is the middle of a cycle for us.
Note that by the end of the second week (Thursday) we will have completed
most cycles.
I feel rod is precisely on target with his comments. I have taken a lap
with Eddie before and I gave him a programmable thing that makes him a
millionaire quite simply. Uenal isn't capable of reading nor understanding
substantive stuff and insists on just farting around with childish head
games. I will take rod's super direction and step up our earning capacity a
notch a week as we go on down the road.
Everyone has the picture that we can pick stocks, we can enter stocks and we
can gold stocks, and we can exit stocks. And we have stops that we never
find put to use to get us out of the unexpected thus far.
Oh look at FCN that we didn't get into. It worked great and is in the
middle of it's decline on a great market day. Cycles prevail and they work.
We have the tools to analyze, monitor and participate in the market.
Lets improve each of these facets.

What about you? Like a robot you are following him here.
How much do you get paid from your bosses for this?

Your value is based on whether Jack is right or not.
Which means you have no value.
Duh.

Actually Eddie brings up some valid reservations about Jack. I've read
Jack's posts off and on now for about 3 years. He's very long-winded and
often vague or unclear. Even some of his staunchest followers and
supporters admit to having difficulty understanding many of his posts. My
first impressions of him were skeptical, because of his claims to have
written over 20 books, yet his seeming deficiencies in conveying a clear
message. And now he's even started using the non-word "kewl"!
Jack also used to post a series of his convoluted insights and then
disappear before fully answering people's questions to him. To his credit,
he has admitted to this and he seems to be making a much better effort at
sticking around to answer questions now. And thanks to the efforts of
people like Don and others, Jack's methods may someday be fully translated
to English. ;)
Others seem to be upset with Jack because his method is not completely
quantifiable to a straight forward computer program. But he's certainly not
the first TA person to use a bit of eyeballing and subjective assessment
here and there.
I'm not trying to discredit Jack here. I think he's probably sincere in his
efforts. I'm just reiterating some of the valid reasons why some have met
him with skepticism. And perhaps he will convert some of those skeptics
with the extra effort he has put forth to follow through as of late.
Best to all and keep up the good work.

Why can't people appreciate his work without you calling them "followers and
supporters"?
Why can't people not appreciate the anti-semitic moron Uenal and the
seething sweety Eddie Roberts without being considered Jack's "followers and
supporters"?

Perhaps the subject matter is difficult to describe precisely? Could you
accurately describe to someone who was just beginning to drive, how to drive
to the supermarket and back? I doubt you could. They might even complain
you were being vague and unclear. What is simple for you to just DO, would
be impossible to describe accurately.
Are you saying this is the first time you ever seen the word "kewl"? Or are
you saying Jack should not be allowed to say it?
> Jack also used to post a series of his convoluted insights and then
When there is a difference of more than 30 IQ points between two people,
effective communication is virtually impossible - that is a fact.

Yes, Don is a very good man.

Again I refer you to the driving analogy.

Perhaps, but he should not be harassed in to entertaining his skpetics. His
skeptics should fuck off and killfile him, rather than harass him and anyone
that talks to him.
> Best to all and keep up the good work.
Thanks for the level-headed response.
To use your own analogy, Jack has had difficulty explaining how to drive to
members of the NASCAR circuit, not just beginners. I have seen several
people with lots of TA experience admit to difficulties grasping Jack's
lengthy discourses. Here's a quote from Don's website:
"Also, he is not an easy read. He has a unique style in presenting his
thoughts and his posts tend to be replete with asides, anecdotes, obscure
references and verbal shorthand ways of expressing his ideas."
It just seems to a lot of us that it takes him months to say what could have
been said in minutes. The fact that he's been trying for more than 2 1/2
years to convey this info with limited success says a lot. I won't go so
far as to say he is wrong or a phony though. Just exasperating sometimes.
And I do believe that Jack has knowingly toyed with us on more than one
occasion. Unfortunately some people react to that in rather strong ways.
When I use the terms followers and supporters I simply mean as opposed to
his obvious detractors. I'm not implying any cult status or whatever it is
to which you are taking offense.
The reference to using "kewl" is that it seems rather anachronistic for an
admittedly older man to be using such a youthful, common butchering of a
word. Especially someone from an academic background who has written over
26 books. But my point was more in jest anyway, much as I suspect is Jack's
use of "kewl". It's no big deal.
Actually, I could care less who agrees/disagrees or likes/dislikes Jack's or
anyone else's posts here, including my own. But I don't see the need for
anyone to go die or fuck off or be called no balls and no brains either.
Except maybe that crazy bastard,... oh, never mind. ;)
Lighten up folks, it's the wacky world of Usenet.

I did not mean "explain how to drive", I meant "explain how to drive to the
supermarket". How to accomplish a specific mission given the interactive
experience of driving. You could not predict in advance which other cars
the person should look out for, what obstacles that may present themself
after you have given the instructions, or even the nuances of when to adjust
the wheel to stay on the road. Exact instructions do not exist for such a
task.
An ideal "proof", if Jack was interested, would be for a friendly party to
go sit next to him while he trades for a day. Perhaps Don could go visit
Jack for a day.

If I was in my 60's, I would be doing youthful things too. Including chill
with the Betties.

Or if you try to help people, abusenet.
Perhaps he simply believes that if someone wants something of value
they should be made to work for it rather than having it handed to
them gift-wrapped on a plate.
To use an analogy, and not to call you a child, when little children
see something they would like but can't easily reach they often throw
a temper-tantrum too.
