I just purchased Telechart 2000 based on their representations over the phone
that it would be able to read data downloaded from another historical
quote service. I am surprised to learn that this is not true, or if it is,
it won't be easy. My current service provides comma-delimited, ASCII
files. ANyone have an idea how to import these into Telechart??? I
know that the files are kept in a Clipper database; even the database
record structure would be quite useful.

TC2000 is in the data-sales business, so they would not
have an incentive to import data from other vendors...

There is some limited import/export facility with their
DATACON utility... (Check for DATACON.exe and DATACON.doc
in your TC2000 directory). That facility is effective
at moving data back and forth between Metastock (thank
goodness!).
