A cross-party group of US senators have agreed a framework for potential legislation on gun safety, following a spate of mass shootings.

This would include support for tougher checks for buyers aged under 21 and cracking down on illegal gun purchases.

?? those firearms are just semi autos that have been around for decades. Everyone owns semi autos. Look up the Ruger 10/22. The most successful 22LR rifle in the world. Holds a 10 round replaceable magazine. That going to be illegal? Same as an AR15 except for scary looks and caliber. Both semi auto with removable magazines.
