I only daytrade commodities. That's what works for me. I can't do position
trading because I don't have patience to look up the commercial commitments,
put/call ratios, what the USDA is reporting, Elliot waves, etc.

I found a broker who does that stuff for me at $25/round turn plus about $2 in
exchange and government fees (depending on the exchange). Her name is Judy
Crawford at Zaner Group jcra...@zaner.com. I gave her complete discretionary
powers in handling my personal account. It's something I have never done before
but I'm glad I'm doing it now.

I'm not one to give compliments, but Judy is very good at what she does.

Don't blame you, she is a deal and half at that price. Don't wanna
be an asshole mike, but i can't possibly understand how she can
follow all the reports, have a dozen assistants doing research and
reports and charge so low?

Is she taking a cut of profs, management fees, etc and how long has
she been trading? Will she/is she able to do foreign commercial
a/c's?
Most import of all. . . is she making you cash, has she made cash for
your buds/family/lovers. . . you get the drift.
I will be contacting her direct as time permits, i have HUGE physical
positions in gold and silver + canadian/aussie dollars + oil via
tarsands
holdings.

We are not privy to consensus+opinions+sentiment. Its all about
trends
and a good trader/broker can figure out trends and defenses light
years
before any of us can. Its called experience, you can earn it
(expensive
in losses, LOL) or we can rent it via this lady. Professinal
traders feed
off little guys like us daytrading minis on bad info (see Aereo).

MOST IMPORTANT: HAVE YOU MET WITH HER, DID YOU WALK INTO
AN OFFICE, DID YOU CHECK BANK CREDIT REFERENCES AND CON-
FIRM LEGITIMACY.....I RESPECT YOU AS THOROUGH & conservative
(who knows, maybe Reform LOL).
Is she known to you, your family, inlaws, is she known to your
'community'?

My broker at Freidberg Mercantile keeps stressing there is just as
much
money on downsides or sideways as there was on the way up. . . but i
honestly just do not understand that part, seems complicated and
confused,
had i followed on his recent moves shorting gold and oil when they
broke
trend. . . . you get the pix.

I would not put myself on the line if I didn't think Judy is very good. I'm not
getting anything for this endorsement, but I felt I just had to say something
because she has done very well me for me in many different commodities that I
have never traded.

The charge is just her commission at $25 plus exchange and government fees. No
management fees, no percentage of the profits. No percentages of anything. Just
straight commission.

Judy does have an additional incentive for doing well for me. She will make more
money if she makes me money because as the size of my account increases, she can
better diversify the trading mix and trade more different commodities.

I have spoken to Judy on a number of occasions, but she's based in Chicago, so
an office visit is not practical as yet. Before I gave her my money, she
emailed to me her trading signals for each trading day which I traded with real
money. After around a month with very good results I handed her a small five
figure account to try out. After a couple of months, I'm up 40% so I have no
complaints.

Her company is Zaner which is cleared by MF Global, which may clear for
Friedberg as well. MF Global is a clearing member, so my cash is backed by a
million bucks of government and private insurance plus self insurance pools at
the various exchanges. I dealt with Zaner 20 years ago in its discount
division, Futures Discount Group. No problems whatsoever. I don't think there
are any haimlishe companies in this industry, but Zaner is close to it. Its
website has a good deal of information where you can compare Judy's picks with
those of the other brokers at Zaner.

This is her home page:

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Man, are the "BuffyTheProfitHater"/"Lowbrow"/"Robo Alien"/"Piddy-full"/
"Hamish The 17-Year-Old Haifa-Based Palestinian Usenet Terrorist" aliases
on an insano roll lately!!!

We thought we heard the craziest he could get with the "BuffyTheProfitHater"
alias lapsing into an endless sex-fantasy delerium, but he tops himself with
this
latest idiotic trading fantasy!

Yes, the "Lowbrow" alias, after regaling the stocks group with his
off-topic tales of effortlessly raking in $thousands/day as a commodities
"day-trader", now has abruptly decided to turn his account over to
a "CTA" (same as the "BuffyTheProfitHater" alias, who claimed repeatedly
to be a "multi-million dollar hedge-fund manager"), after presumably
receiving two (TWO-OHHH!!!) days worth of "winning trades" from
a boiler room salesperson (since this is about the amount of time
since his last off-topic post about his own "day-trading" successes).

Brilliant!!! AND MOST HILARIOUS OF ALL, HIS IMAGINARY
AUTOBIOGRAPHY INCLUDED WORKING FOR A "CTA" THAT
DEFRAUDED HIS CLIENTS OF $40MILLION!!!"

You CAN'T make this stuff up...BUT "HE" SURE CAN!!!

Thanks for the laughs, "Lowbrow"/"BuffyTheProfitHater"/whatever, at
the very least...when I come to attach your assets, we both know that
you'll finally "come clean" and admit all this crap was all just a bizarre
lie...

So who the hell are you to ask us to give any credence to your "methinks?"
Bill, you are a failure in everything you ever attempted to do. If you ever
invested in anything addressed by our newsgroup charter you would provide some
specific stock picks, but you cannot because they are just as much as loser as
all that gold in which you allege your money is locked. And most likely your
stock picking is just as much a loser as your career as a c-language coder.

Why is it so difficult to admit your life is one of a loser, Bill? Not just an
ordinary run of the mill loser, but a loser who can't seem to hold a job, make a
friend, find a love interest or make just one successful investment. Instead of
admitting that, you give us the crap that you are "retired" but not "retired"
enough to allegedly repair -- now get this -- Ferraris!

Now who in their right mind would want a pathological loser touching a car worth
more than all the money Reid has ever earned in his life, even if we include the
dough he picked up in unemployment insurance, medicaid and welfare payments?

Then we look at where else Reid posts. Hmmmm... Reid posts to the
alt.tv.buffy-v-slayer newsgroup, which is based on a TV show focused to children
of middle school age.

Which 12 year old is your "honeybunch" Big Boy Bill?

Now, some of us liberals believe there is some good in everybody. Reid appears
to be an exception. He attacks me, but that's expected, because he attacks
everyone who has more intelligence. People like me, Fred, Comics, DB, Ausound,
John the Visitor, ... When Bill runs out of people to attack, he resorts to
attacking the memory of my late father and my children.

But I'm still convinced that someone, somewhere knows there is some good in Bill
Reid. Perhaps Mama Reid can shed some light on the goodness of her only son!

Uh-oh!

A court order Bill? Would you care to elaborate? Since you had opened the
door, perhaps you can give us a couple of reasons Mama Reid disliked you.

If I were not a liberal I would be literally ROFL with a healthy...
...BWAHAHAHAHA!

But as a certifiable bleeding heart, I really am sad your life is so miserable
Bill, but I'm also sure the pain you undergo everyday is well deserved.

Hmmm... So here we have Reid, a pathological loser and hated by his own mother
unless she is served with a court order. A loser who never amounted to anything
except apparently an entry on the unemployment roll and now says he is
"retired" but not retired enough to be, of all things, a "Ferrari Mechanic."
And to whom does this retired but fulltime pathological loser, Reid, write Usnet
posts?

To TWELVE YEAR OLDS!

To twelve year olds, Bill? What needs of yours are satisfied by a twelve year
old? I doubt if you have ever loved anyone or been loved. I mean what's there
to love in Reid but an angry jealous loser?

So are you expecting those needs you never had in your painful life to be
satisfied by minor children?

In Brooklyn, we used to call people that satisfied their needs with minor
children, "Dirty old men." But I'm not calling Bill Reid a dirty old man. So
what do I think Bill is?

...well...

...how about crazy?

Bill, you need to get help. You cannot go on like this hating everybody because
it will only get worse until you cannot live with yourself. Don't listen to
me... Listen to Mama Reid. Get help soon. I'm a liberal. I care.

There are two constants in MIS. One is aero's bouts with obsessive/compulsive
disorder. The other is an obnoxious, lie filled rant from Bill Reid. While
Aero posts to be helpful, Reid just posts to satisfy some sick need to hate
those who have achieved some level of success where his life is one of failure
and contempt from his own family.

But let's talk about what's important.

Judy, my broker, posts her picks for the public's perusal twice per week at
http://www2.barchart.com/mktcom.asp

If you become her customer, she will email her picks daily. Read her material.
You will not see outlandish claims like you get from Navellier. She is very
matter-of-fact stating her profits and losses from her last trades. When she
trades my account she places one order to enter, one order to close. No
churning whatsoever.

Now..
.>HIS IMAGINARY

>> AUTOBIOGRAPHY INCLUDED WORKING FOR A "CTA" THAT
>> DEFRAUDED HIS CLIENTS OF $40MILLION!!!"

Dr. Jim Kneafsey was my thesis advisor at MIT and supplied the economics
expertise we needed for the Railroad Project for which I programmed the Fortran
simulations. Besides earning a PhD in economics at Ohio St., Jim played minor
league ball in the Cincinnati farm system. Like most MIT profs, Jim wanted to
start a side business, which the 'tute encouraged of all its professors. Jim's
expertise since he was an undergrad was trading and thus started Cambridge
Financial. I wrote the first batch of software for his CP/M based machines.
From time to time he got grad students to modify my code and eventually port my
software to PCs.

One of Jim's customers was the MBTA. In the first month alone, Jim returned a
100% profit. Twenty two years after my work for Jim was completed, Jim was
afflicted with pancreatic cancer. It was a quick and painful death. So quick
that neither Jim nor his wife (who doubled as his bookkeeper) could even think
about closing out the open positions. This eventually resulted in big losses
for the customers, but there was no way, IMO, this could have been prevented.
The customers knew Cambridge was a one-man show and should have covered
themselves accordingly but either limiting the size of the accounts or taking
out insurance with Lloyd's.

How appropriate for a nobody who never amounted to anything except as a
storehouse of jealousy and hate to even bring up this sad episode. But would
anyone expect otherwise from such a mean and useless man like Bill Reid?

To me, Jim Kneafsey was a great teacher, mentor and trader. Does anybody here
think Bill Reid means anything to anyone?

Anyone trading commods from long or short, knows that his first and
only priority is to preserve capital, get your initial out.
In hot markets like gold or oil, its not far fetched.

Aereo is correct in most of his observes, anyone trading S&P Minis
would
be wise to watch his trend observes. He has missed that the trend
is to
the upside and that the VIX is a major trading tool.

Comix with his hourly hog reports demonstrates why a lubow is to be
respected. Mike, we've had mountains of differences, you may have
caught me on one of too many bad trading days. . . . had to hold SSO
for a month and half to recoup at least 2X. . . . but common sense has
to prevail.

One of my major challenges in life has been my inability to keep "IT"
in my
pants, i share edwards pain. I have screwed away millions in
support
and spousal awards/lawyers, etc. My current live in has a black
belt in

her.

Mike, i appreciate your being upfront, i would rather you visit the

to make sure she is not a boiler room.

I did business with Zaner about 20 years ago in its Futures Discount Group
subsidiary without a hitch. If Zaner is a boiler room, I don't care if she works
next to the boiler as long as my capital remains preserved and I get better
returns than holding XOM.

Her honesty, IMO, is beyond reproach. It would be easy for her to gloat about
the dough she made in four days in July with coffee zooming to the $1.51 range.
I know in a similar situation Navellier would be dropping millions of spam
emails screaming about his 300% gain. Judy just reported it as: "bot KFU @
1.34, sold @ 1.51, profit $6375" in her website.

And if it were a loss, it would be reported in the same matter of fact style.
No gloats, no excuses.

We all tend to celebrate our wins beyond reality and downplay the
losses.

Mrs.Market just taught me a painful lesson on silver today, hedged
only
half of my phys holdings. It goes up in steps and down in boxcars,
OUCH!!!
Tell me you did not cover the calls on ABX, pls!!!! At least one of
us is entitled to a nice weekend. The churning and burning in the
pit
of my gut tells me this is a buying opp in commods.

Mike, you keep a diary of past tradings? how you felt, your
emotions, the
extren commentaries and, of course not least, the outcome?
Have a log book going back 22 years which i will get one of the
grandkids
to digitize. I think the tic by tic coverage of market ministrations
offered
by CNBC and to a lesser extent Bloomy is detrimental to trading
reactions
and outcomes.

The ABX calls expire in October and expire they will unexercised!

Yes, I do keep a diary detailing why I do the things I do. I mention those rare
strokes of brilliance or why I didn't act or act fast enough to prevent a win
from turning into a loss. It doesn't do much good because everyday has a
different predicament and when one does 50 trades per day, the details get fuzzy
anyway.

When I trade, all radios and televisions are turned off. The only information I
need are Judy's emails and what the moving averages and oscillators are telling
me.

My computer "is tuned" to www.aolradio.com where I listen to Hawaiian music all
day to get me into the mood for my life's next adventure on Kauai. Like all
commodity traders, I'm superstitious. If I'm losing, I change aolradio.com
from Hawaiian music to Classical. If I'm still losing, I switch to the James
Taylor channel. If that doesn't help, I close the aolradio site completely and
work in silence.

Mrs. L is wise enough to know not to talk to me during trading unless I
announce, "I'm done for today" which means (1) black ink is used in my journal
and (2) it's time for our constitutional on the boardwalk at Long Beach, Jones
Beach or sometimes at Coney Island just to sample Nathan's franks, French fries
and clams (freshest clams in NYC!) or to have lunch at the L&B
www.spumonigardens.com.

Maybe we should ask Reid. His debonair personality makes him quite the ladies'
man.
LOL!

The door to my home office is solid pine. Not one of those hollow doors that
you find at HD. And it has a good dead bolt lock. When the A/C is on and the
computer is playing via radioAOL Iz Kamakawiwo'Ole I cannot hear anyone knocking
on the door. Or at least Mrs. L is trained to believe so.

"Is it going to be like this if we move to Hawaii for the winter?" asked Mrs. L.

"No way. There's a six hour difference. Pit trading in crude light will be
closed at 8:30AM."

Did you ever hear Iz sing "Somewhere over the Rainbow/A Wonderful Day?"
Fantastic!

Well, she got me short coffee this morning at 1.3380 so she is definitely an
