IB says if you enter an odd penny order on their system and they can't match it, they will place an order rounded to the nearest favorable nickel on an exchange for public disclosure. I just saw a bid of 0.01 on one of my contracts. So did they place a bid of zero somewhere :-) ?

Probably is a cabinet bid and you can't bid any lower than a cabinet bid.

Don't you see bid ask of 0.00 0.05 on deep OTM options?
