U.S. stocks continued to remain under pressure on prospects of a
longer-than-expected war. Weak consumer spending also kept traders
defensive. By the end, Dow closed down 55.68, or 0.68 percent, to
8,145.77 while NASDAQ lost 14.73, or 1.06 percent, to 1,369.52.
Dow Industrials (DJIA) Index has defined current trading range of
8,000-8,400 and has been in a consolidation mode near the middle of this
range. NASDAQ Composite T he door is open for a test of its
50-and-200-day moving averages around 1,337-1,343. Resistance remained
