That's a good article, but many of the comments with the article
seemed to reflect a lack of understanding.

Too many financial instruments use the term annuity, but most people
should only be looking at immediate lifetime annuities.

The author makes a good point that with interest rates being low,
immediate annuities will have a low payout. I think that it is
reasonable to expect that interest rates will go up.
