Does anybody have the calibration procedure for a Messmer Buchel
M37620 Micrometer, I have 1 in for repair, its readings were a long
way out, 0 was 0.280 and 4mm was 3.770.

By adjusting the TRIM pot inside the unit and the SPAN pot on the
outside of the unit I have now got a zero and it reads correctly upto
4mm, but when it is at zero, it wanders upto 0.003mm and then will
stay steady for 5 minutes and then will jump up and down again, but it
never goes below 0.000 or above 0.003mm
Any help would be appreciated.
