Hi,

I'm looking for info on companies that are using interactive voice
response (IVR) in the insurance industry. I am not trying to sell or buy
anything!!

I don't need to know what type of system or the size of it - just the
type of application (in as much detail as you can). For example, I know
some firms use IVR for claims status - callers enter their claim #, and
are told if the claim was approved or not, how large the settlement will
be, and if a cheque or credit has been issued.

Any and all submissions gratefully received...

Kevin

Many (all?) US nonstandard auto companies use it for billing status, due
ot the large percentage of monthly payments. That would be a good area of
companies to target your research.
