Power Cord for HP External Multibay Cradle, PO7456

Help! I bought my laptop from work, and our admin said, "this DVD
drive came with your laptop, so I put it in a cradle for you." Then
they went out of business, and I'd really like to use the DVD drive
(as I need an external DVD drive to install Windows 7), But, he didn't
give me the power cord.

HP was no help. The ordering department told me to call the parts
department, who told me to call customer service, who told me to call
support, who said they weren't technical, and dumped me in a voicemail
loop. Radio Shack couldn't match the power cord. How can I get power
into this device?

Remember those USB cables with the separate power cord that came out?
Could it be one of those? What were those called?
