Why does america spend billions of $ a year funding ICE and the BP and
fences to keep illegals out, but also spends billions a year giving
benefits to the illegals here??

They pay billions in taxes and don't get much in the way of benefits.

What I find amusing is the company I work for (huge telecom) watches and
tests its employees and runs background checks yearly. BUT, the trash people
do not speak english and have keys to every office and room in the building.
I have spoken with a couple I have gotten friendly with and they admit they
are here illegally. They arent even trying to hide it. Ironically they are
never even suspected of the petty theft going on around here.

Which also means that they get none of that back. It goes into the SS
pool and the general fund and gets spent on folks like you and me.

folks who are too poor or too cheap to buy health insurance.

I read a SciFi book once that had an alien species that was thought to
be especially dim witted and slow, so they were relegated to all the
menial tasks around the galaxy. It turns out THEY were actually the
ones running the show because they held the jobs that got them into
everywhere without question and the facade of stupidity let them fly
under the radar. So, they used their positions as janitors, trash men,
