Feds: Teen Injured In Florida Pileup Won't Be Deported

(CNN) -- The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency said
Wednesday that an illegal immigrant who was injured and lost most of
her family in Sunday's multivehicle wreck in Florida will not face
deportation.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Miss Lidiane Carmo as she deals
with the tragic loss of her family," ICE spokeswoman Barbara Gonzalez
said. "Reports of her facing deportation are completely false."

"ICE's stated priorities include convicted criminals, immigration
fugitives, repeat immigration law violators and recent border
crossers," Gonzalez said in a written statement

When people in Atlanta were expecting her, reportedly alone, to be
returned to Brazil to be with relatives, non-relatives in Atlanta
immediately started insisting that she must stay in the USA . Two days
later they somehow turned up an "Aunt and Uncle" in Atlanta.

There was no news, or any apparent attempt to find out, if the "Aunt
and Uncle" had just arrived or not, orthemselves illegal, as were the
whole of the family that perished, or not.

The family's Brazilian church immediately started raising money for
the whole of family to be buried IN BRAZIL

Clearly no "American Dream" had ever having been involved.

All sorts of decisions are being made about the girl,especially by the
media long co-opted in Atlanta by the MxGov, while she hasn't even
been told yet what has happened.

Could it be she may still want to be with her family in Brazil?
