Dear group,

i am on a F1 student Visa and i was wondering if it is possible to
work for a foreign company with no business in the US. I would work on
US soil (on my computer) and it would be work for a project, that is,
something like 80hr total stretched over 4 weeks. I asked the
international student office if i could do a CPT for the summer
quarter but they told me it only applies for US companies. So my
questions are:
1) can i do this project without CPT or any other permit
2) where would i pay taxes for the money (one time payement) i would
get

Comments are greatly appreciated

You can't do that. It doesn't matter where the job is located, it matters where
you are located.
