J-1 Visa Waiver - Help with alien registration # and item 12

Hello,
Does anyone know what to enter in the following items (form DS-3035)?

"item 10. INS Alien registration number"
Where do I get this number or what does it mean? Is it my social
security number?

"item 12. Give an explanation for any period of time in the U.S. not
covered by your IAP-66 or DS-2019."
Here, should I write ALL the times I've been to the US, even as a
tourist before I started my visitor program? And, if so, how detailed
should these entries be?

It is a number that immigrants (i.e., people with a Greencard) get.
If you don't know what it is, you most likely don't have one. It
has nothing to do with your SSN.
