From a recent post, chance of having Islit
in America:

Insulinitis (Islit, near-total to total loss of
endogenous insulin), how many Americans
have Islit?
https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+Americans+have+type+1+diabetes%3F&oq=how+many+Americans+have+type+1+diabetes

Some 1.6 million Americans are living with
T1D, including about 200,000 youth (less
than 20 years old) and 1.4 million adults (20
years old and older). 64,000 people are diag-
nosed each year in the U.S.

Current U.S. population as of 4:30 PM central
time on June 23 2022:
332,810,800

So, statistically, 1 in 208 people have Islit, and
1 in 5,200 Americans are diagnosed with Islit
each year.

Percent-wise, that's 4.8/10th of 1% of Amer-
icans have Islit, and 1 in 5,200 is a very tiny
percent of Americans without Islit being diag-
nosed with it in any year, 0.0001923 .
That's slightly less than 2/100th of 1%.

From a post I read earlier today, "The likelihood
of having identical twins is about one in 250."
https://www.bbc.com/culture/article/20220725-why-are-we-so-fascinated-by-identical-twins

The individual writing that isn't good at math as
they referred to that as 0.5%, but actually that's
0.4%, 4/10ths of 1%.

So, the chance of a mother having identical twins
is far more than the chance of an American being
diagnosed with Islit in a year, but as far as already
having Islit, an American's chance of already having
Islit is slightly higher than a mother's chance of hav-
ing identical twins in a particular birth.

I was diagnosed with Islit (Insulinitis)
caused by Insulitis (autoimmune attack
on pancreatic beta cells) at age 5, in
March 1961, Insulitis Islit just 1 of
the 15 specific types of Islit.

INSULINITIS (ISLIT)

New SUPERIOR clarifying name for near-
total to total loss of endogenous insulin
https://prohuman.net/pix2/new_superior_clarifying_name_is_INSULINITIS.jpg

The overwhelming majority of Islit caused by
autoimmune attacks on pancreatic beta cells
(Insulitis Islit) but there are

o 15 specific types of rapid onset Islit, a
rare condition (only present in < one-half
of 1% of Americans & in a much lower rate
in most of the world), when present is typ-
ically diagnosed at age under 30
(50% at age < 18, 20% at age 19 to 29)

o 1 slow onset specific type, Latent Autoim-
mune Islit, frequency unknown but per a
recent report, misdiagnosed as Cellosis
(new clarifying name for type 2 diabetes)
almost 40% of the time due to its slow
onset and its occurrence typically at age
over 30

Old outdated anachronistic name for Islit is
type 1 diabetes, confusing in that diabetes
without clarifier is often used to describe
this condition which is 1 of the 7 Disparate
High Glucose Conditions (DHGCs).

That makes figuring out which DHGC is actu-
ally being referred to (and it can be any one,
or some, or all of them when the diabetes
or diabetic word is used without clarifier)
confusing / difficult:

insulin production in first 6 months, 12
specific types
