Current BMI: 23.9
Current weight: 149.0 pounds
Current waist: 28.75 inches
Current height: 5 feet 6.25 inches
Current Waist-to-height ratio: 0.434

Yesterday, I didn't quite hit my
calorie goal of < 1,000, and exer-
cised less, and had trouble getting
my glucose down despite trying many
insulin doses to do so, but I re-
lost the .8 pounds I re-gained ...

... 2 days ago and am back to my
BMI / weight / WHR I was at 2 days
ago. I was slightly over 800 cal-
ories (855) but since my glucose
wasn't coming down, I gave more ...

... to get it to come down, went to
the grocery store, and by the time
I returned it was low 70s, so a
combo of 4 raisin mini-boxes & 8
sugar free candies (74 carbs, 240
calories) put me at 1115 calories
for the day.

My last effort to avoid hypogly-
cemia led to the last 37 carbs
120 calories as I hesitated to
believe my CGM when it went up
from 71 to 72 mg/dl after the
first 37 carbs 120 calories.

Don't know why my metabolism led
to a higher than desired glucose
day (134 mg/dl glucose level &
unusually large insulin dosage
of 35.85 units), but the stay-
ing up 'til 3 AM to try to ...

... prevent weight gain is im-
plicated as causing the unusual
day. As the saying goes, some-
times you can't win for losing.

o Exercise

- 6/9 5 30 minute indoor cycling
sessions, total 150 minutes

o Diet (including fiber & nuts &
coffee & atorvastatin & multi-
vitamins which I hadn't tracked
'til 5/31):

- 6/9 1,115 calories
~ 63.5 grams of protein
~ 211.5 grams of carbs
~ 21 grams of fat
~ 46.5 grams of fiber
~ 4 servings of fruit
~ 3.5 servings of vegetables
~ 0 serving of nuts
~ 2 large cups of coffee
~ 5 mg atorvastatin
~ 1 multi-vitamin

o Insulin dosing (note that sometimes
I do 30 minute elevated basal, like
a 30 minute bolus, usually due to
rising glucose, sometimes in con-
junction with exercise, & I suspend
basal when trying to prevent a hypo)

- 6/9 13.4 total units
~ 14.3 units bolus (40%)
~ 21.55 units basal (60%)

o Average glucose level (last HbA1c
of 5.3, average glucose 105 mg/dl,
was 18 mg/dl lower than my CGM aver-
age glucose)

- 6/9 134 mg/dl

Re-post to correct the insulin dosage
total which I had right in one area
but failed to update in another area.

I note that this post is a perfect
example of the metabolic / insulin
dosing unpredictability that makes
having glucose levels similar to what ...

... those who have no glucose anomaly
have so very difficult for those with
Islit (new clarifying name for near-
total to total loss of endogenous in-
sulin):
